We collaborated with well-established local Bay Area artist, Gay Outlaw, on a few large-scale public art pieces that were commissioned for San Francisco International Airport. We created the concrete base for her piece titled Shell as well as the entire piece titled Intersection. Intersection consists of two large identical structures that appear as a deconstructed cube that has been put back together in a new configuration. This piece has custom terrazzo “buttons” that have been arranged on the surfaces of the pieces as well as in the places where they are joined.
