Marin’s first LEED-H certified home, The Hillside House was designed by the owner, Scott Lee of SB Architects, and the interior by Erin Martin Design. The creative combination of green materials makes this Mill Valley home a model for green living. Custom concrete surfaces are found throughout the interior and exterior of the house, including kitchen floor tile and islands, bathroom sinks, tubs and countertops, outdoor tile, an exterior fireplace and an outdoor reading tub – all high in fly ash content, helping contribute to it’s LEED certification.
