In the creation of the P_Wall for the FRAC Centre in Orléans, France, Andrew Kudless of Matsys Design collaborated with us to fabricate fiber-reinforced concrete panels that are 2 cm thick (his previous projects used solid plaster blocks). This solution vastly reduces the weight of each panel, allowing them to be larger, lighter, stronger, and ideal for the new venue. The wall is made up of 34 panels that create a fluid, organic texture that emulates softness despite being hard to the touch.
